Bexley Women’s Club Scholarship Program

The Bexley Women’s Club scholarship program, a primary focus of the club, began in 1937 when $50 scholarships were awarded to two women students attending Capital University and The Ohio State University. Modest by today’s standards, those $50 scholarships paid the women’s tuition with some left over for additional expenses.

Today’s scholarship program is open to high school seniors who are residents of Bexley. Since its inception, the Bexley Women’s Club scholarship program has awarded more than $460,000 to approximately 840 deserving students.
